Hello Clarence,
The violin came in on the mail on Friday and it's beautifull. My daughter,Sarah who played some as a teenager and is now 33 has it at her house and is just thrilled with it.her plan is to get back to playing. The work you did is wonderfull and we are very greatfull.I appreciate you saying that it's a good sounding Hopf;I am not a violinist and wouldn't know that, however I do know that it looks and sounds great.
We have been in the middle of moving-still are in fact;we have no internet service for the time being so I didn't get your email untill I arrived at work tonight. That's why I haven't yet mailed the postage-I didn't know the exact amount. Will send a cheque on Friday as soon as I get to town.Sorry about the delay and hope it's not a problem.
Once again thanks so much for the care you took in repairing our violin and take care of yourself.
Sandra
HI Clarence,
Thanks again for the great fiddle restoration and fine bow. I played all evening trying to get my fingering and control back. This is a real joy.
My deepest thanks for taking on this project and turning an old basket case into a fine instrument. Your keen eye and experience judged this correctly and produced more than I could have dreamed of!
All the best,
Tark
Hi Clarence.
I just wanted to give you an update on my cello and me. I am taking cello lessons in Prince George (3 1/2 hrs one way!) from Karl Anderson. He really likes my cello! I have had 2 lessons so far. Karl said that my instrument would make anyone sound good!
Just wanted you to know that it is once again being played, albeit poorly, but being played all the same. Thank you again for the superb craftsmanship you put into restoring my cello.
bye for now,
Pat Singer

- Here is my Dad, Mainus Tetlock, at Norquay Sask.
He received his violin on the day this picture was taken and as you can see, it made him really happy.
His next door neighbour at the Lodge where he and Mom now live is a retired musician (is there such a thing?) He has played it and pronounces it great! He is going to help Dad relearn to play. !!!!
Thank you SO much!!!
Warm Regards

Hi Clarence,
Thank you for the enjoyable Christmas card. Hope you had a great
holiday, and all the best to you in 2007. My fiddles are sounding
much better, thanks for the set-up work you did. I meant to write
earlier to tell you that. I haven't had much time to play for the
last few weeks but I'm ready to go now.
See you again one of these days.
Vicki

Just a quick note to report on the double bass repair.
We
played our "New Years Eve" gig
for the old folks today and I was astonished how much better the
bass sounded and how well the stem held up without even using
pliers to tighten it. Also, since it is sleeting, the cover was
very useful.
Thank you for your hard work. I would be glad to recommend you
to anyone requiring instrument repairs. ('Though I'm not sure if
you would want to take on one such as mine again!)
Have a great new year.

On behalf of the Tour de Rock committee in Sidney, we would like
to thank you for playing the fiddle for us at our most recent Tour
de Rock event which was held on October 5th. It is much appreciated
when companies get behind a committee and their projects.
